About us
ANNECY CANYONING is a professional company with a tremendous location by the Montmin Canyon. We always guide our outdoor activities with a qualitative approach. Thanks to our knowledge and local awareness we provide a great experience, always respecting people and nature.
OUR CANYONING BASE
We welcome our visitors in our permanent base, located nearby the water from the Montmin river. Everything here is meant to provide comfort and well being to enjoy the activity at its best. You’ll indeed find all the services you need: changing rooms, toilets, relaxation area, snacks and drinks, a picnic area, parking and WIFI. We provide transport to take you direct to the start of the activity. We accept credit cards with our electronic payment terminal.
OUR TEAM
A canyoning is a very special type of environment, requiring a lot of skills and good judgement from your guide. That’s why all our guides have a French state diploma to guide outdoors activities.
The list of valid State diplomas required to guide Canyoning or Via Ferrata: High Mountain Guide (GHM), Climbing instructor or Canyoning instructor. Our guides are all registered with the French Ministry of Sport and have professional liability insurance. All the official documents are available at our base and available upon request.
THE CANYONING GEAR
We take a special care of your safety and your comfort. We have the best Canyoning gear available on the market. Your guide will help you to get equipped, will then double check all the safety gear and will do a safety briefing.
We provide 5mm neoprene suits with socks, pants and jacket. Everything is washed, disinfected and dried after each use.
The Personal Protected Equipment is:
- a harness with a double lanyard
- a descender
- an helmet
A check is made after each use.
